The NMAPC Zero Injury Safety Awards Dinner is scheduled for Thursday, October 27, 2005 at the Washington Court Hotel located on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC. Cocktails will be served at 6:30 PM and dinner at 7:30 PM. We will honor all proud recipients who have won this prestigious award; owner, contractor and labor organization and recognize their contributions in achieving world-class safety performance.

Assistant Secretary of the Occupational Safety and Health Association (OSHA), Mr. Jonathan L. Snare, has been invited to the event as the Key Note Speaker. In addition, you will have the opportunity to meet some of the fourteen International Union General Presidents who have also been invited.

Hotel cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to date of arrival to avoid one night room and tax charge. All no-shows will be billed for one night room and tax fee. Rooms will become property of the hotel with rooms subject to availability.

Directions from National Airport:

Follow signs for I-395 North (Stay in Right Hand Lanes and Look for I-395 North Signs as you Cross the Potomac River). Continue on I-395 Approximately One Mile Until You See a Sign Reading “US Senate/D Street/I-395”. This Exit will Put you Through Two Tunnels. In the Second Tunnel, Take the Exit Marked “D Street”. At the end of the Tunnel, Turn Right on to D Street. At the Second Light, Turn Left on New Jersey Avenue. Go Two Blocks on New Jersey Avenue. The Hotel is on the Right Side Between E and F Street.

Directions from Dulles Airport:

Take Dulles Access Road to I-66 East or Route 50 to Washington, crossing the Potomac River via the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge. Exit to Constitution Avenue (Follow Constitution Avenue toward the Capitol Dome). Shortly Before You Reach the Capitol, Turn Left on Louisiana Avenue. Go Two Blocks and Turn Left on New Jersey Avenue. The Hotel is on New Jersey Avenue, Between E and F Streets.

Directions from Baltimore-Washington International Airport:

Take the Baltimore-Washington Parkway (I-295) South. Go south on I-95 toward Washington. Take exit 22 B (the Baltimore-Washington Parkway). Follow the Baltimore-Washington Parkway South to Route 50 West. Route 50 West Becomes New York Avenue. Follow New York Avenue for Approximately Two Miles (through the warehouse section) and Turn Left on North Capitol Street. Follow North Capitol Street to E Street and Turn Right. Go One Block to New Jersey Avenue and Turn Right.
